It connects the commercial decisions and the work that follows, so teams can see which quote was approved, who is involved and what still needs attention. ## Quote it. Book it. Run it. Clear it. Run it: coordinate the job, documents, responsibilities and progress. Clear it: track invoices, bills, payments and reconciliation against the project. ## Company workspace and participant access PFP Network is the free communication and response layer connecting invited freelancers, supplier representatives and other project participants with organizations using Project Factory Pro OS. Network users do not need a paid OS account simply to respond to an invitation. An invited participant can review the work shared with them, respond to requests and quotes, follow booking status, exchange relevant documents and see their payment standing. The available actions depend on the invitation, role and current state of the work. ## Who pays, and for what? Network users do not need a paid OS account simply to respond to an invitation. Companies pay for OS seats; invited participants use Network to respond to work and see the information shared with them. People who need to manage their own complete project workflow can request a Project Factory Pro OS account. A Network invitation does not automatically create or charge for a paid OS seat. ## What Network does not open Network is not the complete OS workspace. It does not give participants access to a company’s private client quotes, internal budgets, other contacts or unrelated projects. A separate agency account and agency management workflow are not currently available. Agency or partner contacts are not a promise of agency-specific permissions. Public directory discovery through PFP Yellow Pages is separate from a private company relationship; joining a company does not automatically publish a directory listing. # Factory Overview — the project dashboard Source: https://www.projectfactorypro.com/docs/factory/ How Factory Overview brings project status and commercial progress into the company dashboard. ## See the work in one place Factory Overview is the Project Factory Pro dashboard. It brings active projects, status and money into one view, giving the team a starting point for understanding the work they are responsible for. The overview connects to the specialist modules rather than replacing them. Quote Creator and Quote Tracker carry quotations, Job Booker carries resource commitments, Job Manager carries running work, and Coin carries commercial closeout. ## Follow the project record A project overview helps a manager move from a question about progress to the underlying quote, job or commercial record. An agreed rate, a confirmed booking and a payment are different events; one status should not be mistaken for another. Access to the company dashboard belongs to the authenticated OS workspace. A Network participant sees the work and information shared with that participant, not the company’s complete dashboard. # Black Book — contacts and working relationships Source: https://www.projectfactorypro.com/docs/black-book/ How Blackbook organizes clients, crew, freelancers, suppliers and other project contacts. ## The people and organizations behind the work Black Book, named Blackbook in the OS, is the company’s working contact book. It brings clients, crew, freelancers, suppliers, venue contacts and the company’s own people into a consistent record of who they are and the roles they play. A contact record and a signed-in account are different things. Adding a person to a contact book does not by itself give that person an OS seat, a Network account or access to private company information. ## Connect a contact with project work Project teams use these relationships when identifying clients and allocating resources. Names, organizations and roles stay connected to the work rather than being recreated for every quotation or booking. When an invitation is available for the person’s supported role, the invitation and acceptance establish the relevant access. Company contacts remain private; they are not automatically published in Yellow Pages. # Quotes — scope, versions and agreed terms Source: https://www.projectfactorypro.com/docs/quotes/ How client quotations and resource quotes relate to project scope, approval and booking. ## Build the commercial foundation Quote Creator organizes scope, sections, rates and terms into the client quotation. Quote Tracker keeps quotation versions and their progress together, so the team can distinguish a draft, a sent version and the version that wins the work. The client’s selling price and a supplier or freelancer’s buying rate serve different purposes. They belong to the project’s commercial record without exposing the company’s private pricing to every participant. ## From a resource quote to a commitment A resource can respond to the work offered through the supported Network journey. When the project manager accepts a submitted quote, the agreed rate and negotiation record belong to that allocation. Accepting commercial terms does not itself confirm a booking or issue an LPO. Those actions have their own prerequisites. The aim is to keep changes and decisions attached to the work rather than spread across unrelated messages and spreadsheets. Quote Creator and Quote Tracker establish the commercial foundation. Job Booker organizes allocated resources and dates. Job Manager brings running jobs, documents and handoffs together. Coin connects the project to invoices, bills and payments. ## Keep responsibilities and status understandable Tasks, delivery responsibilities and dependencies need to be understood in the context of the project they support. A team should be able to distinguish planned work, agreed terms, confirmed commitments and completed work. Network connects invited participants with their part of that work. A freelancer’s own participation, a supplier representative’s relationship with a company and an employee’s access are distinct. The product should use the supported role and invitation for each person rather than treating every contact as the same kind of account. ## Agree the work and follow its progress Requests, quotes, agreed terms and booking status belong to the relevant allocation. Invited Network participants can respond to the work shared with them and follow their own documents and payment standing. Network is not the complete OS workspace. It identifies the company relationship and the supported onboarding or response action. Follow the current instructions in that invitation rather than forwarding or reusing another person’s link. If you expected an invitation but cannot find it, contact the company that invited you and ask them to check or resend it. A general contact record is not proof that an invitation has been sent. ## Keep your own identity and access Use your own account identity. An existing member’s connection with another company requires the relevant consent; knowing an email address is not permission to open a private company workspace.
