How Blackbook organizes clients, crew, freelancers, suppliers and other project contacts.
The people and organizations behind the work
Black Book, named Blackbook in the OS, is the company’s working contact book. It brings clients, crew, freelancers, suppliers, venue contacts and the company’s own people into a consistent record of who they are and the roles they play.
A contact record and a signed-in account are different things. Adding a person to a contact book does not by itself give that person an OS seat, a Network account or access to private company information.
Connect a contact with project work
Project teams use these relationships when identifying clients and allocating resources. Names, organizations and roles stay connected to the work rather than being recreated for every quotation or booking.
When an invitation is available for the person’s supported role, the invitation and acceptance establish the relevant access. Company contacts remain private; they are not automatically published in Yellow Pages.
